Allison J. Scharf, DC graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in 1993, after receiving a BS in biology from SUNY-Binghamton, and has been in practice since then. Dr. Scharf initially experienced the benefits of chiropractic at the age of 12 when she was treated for and relieved of migraine headaches which she had suffered with for years, without any relief from conventional medicine. She has done post-graduate studies in chiropractic neurology and is certified in NAET (Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique) which is an excellent technique to help relieve symptoms caused by allergies.
After working for 2 different chiropractors, she recently ventured out and opened her own practice – In Good Hands Chiropractic Center, LLC, in Princeton.
Her belief is that the body must be kept in good balance in order to maintain good health. That includes physical, chemical and emotional components. Any interference to the nervous system from any one of these may cause dysfunction in a particular area of your body. Chiropractic works by relieving interference to the nervous system, which will promote more normal functioning of the affected areas.
